A graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday December 30, 2021 at Parkhill Cemetery on Macon Road in Columbus, Georgia with Father Benjamin Dallas officiating. Visitation will be at Striffler-Hamby Funeral Home located at 4071 Macon Road in Columbus at 10:00 a.m. prior to the funeral.
Beverly was born in Schenectady, New York on February 17th 1943. Her family moved to Columbus, Georgia when she was three years old. She attended school at Holy Family in Columbus, Mount de Sales in Macon, and Columbus High School in Columbus, Georgia. She attended Columbus College and received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
Beverly moved to Phenix City and started her career in banking at Farmers and Merchants Bank and later at CB&T. She worked for the court system in Russell County and finished her career as an instructor at Columbus Technical College.
She was a kind, loving, and generous person. As a faithful member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Phenix City, she attended Mass regularly. She made friends easily and was loved dearly by those who knew her.
Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, George and Agnes Hope Theeringer. She is survived by her friends, Mike and Naomi Elliott. As her friend and guardian Naomi is sincerely grateful to the staff and care givers of the Green House at Calvary in Columbus, Georgia.
