Mr. Bailey was retired owner of the Grill Outlet in Columbus, GA and was a member of Stafford Road Church of Christ in Phenix City, AL.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Irene Mayo Bailey and his son, Richard Frank Bailey.
Survivors include his children, Jan Phillips (Jorge Castillo), Angie Wendlandt, Chris Bailey, Timothy Bailey (Tara) and grandchildren, Brandi Phillips, Dustin Phillips, Kaci Phillips, Tiffini Phillips, Chase Bailey, Courtney Bailey, Cailynn Bailey, Tanner Wendlandt, Tabitha Oliver, Dakota Bailey and numerous great grandchildren.
A graveside funeral service for Billy will be held Friday, September 15, 2023 at Lakeview Memory Gardens, 3800 Hwy 431 North, Phenix City, AL 36867.
