I knew Brenda many years ago when I was a young girl growing up in Columbus, GA. She, along with JJ and Missy, lived just across the street from me. Brenda had a profound impact on my life—she played a meaningful role in my journey to salvation, and I always held her in the highest regard. I remember her beautiful singing voice and, most of all, her deep love for the Lord and her children.

I met your mom at a voting poll. I just found out she passed away. I feel so sad I lost contact with her. She was a amazing woman I have ever met. I truly love her. She will aways be in my heart and thoughts. I love Brenda with all my heart. I will see you in heaven Brenda ❤️.  Miss you so much!!!

I can see by the pictures posted that Brenda's family meant a lot to her.  I knew Brenda from our time at Wilcox High School in Santa Clara, CA and although I haven't spent time with her since our graudation, I have a lot of fond memories of Brenda.  To Brenda's family - My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.  Cherish the happy memories.

It is a blessing to know Ms. Hays and the family.  I loved to hear her play her guitar and I am happy to see how she was loved and cared for by her family.

I cannot believe that Brenda is gone.  I just talked to her a few months ago and she told me she was doing fine.  She was one of the bravest ladies I ever knew.  I will miss that glorious voice forever.  She sent me tapes when she wrote or recorded a new song.  I loved her so much.  We were like sisters for years.  Our days at VLSI and the years after, before she moved to Phenix City, will always be warm memories in my heart.  I know that God was waiting for her and now his loving arms are wrapped firmly around her welcoming her into Heaven.  I send my love and condolences to all of you.
