Brenda Suelane Yates

A celebration of Brenda's life will be held Monday, September 25, 2023 at 4:00 PM in the Lakewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Phenix City, Alabama.

Brenda was born in Columbus, GA. to the late Oscar Woodall and Alwynn Bishop Woodall. She enjoyed reading a good novel, playing a game of solitaire or just spending hours talking to family or friends on the phone. Brenda was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. She was employed by AAA Cooper Transportation as a driver. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Derrick Dakota Yates, siblings, Reverend Fred Woodall, and Janice Jacobson, her mother-in-law, Nettie Yates and father-in-law, Robert H. Yates, Sr.

She is survived by her Husband, Robert H Yates Jr., children, Bruce A. Yates (Teresa), David A. Yates (Jessica) and Kynnedy Lynn Yates, grandchildren, Hillary Ford (Ty), and David A. Yates, Jr. (Haley) great grandchildren, Dakota Lane Yates, Bryson Yates, Levi Ford and Tyler Ford, a brother, Phil Woodall, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
