Carol Jane Grohman, 74 of Phenix City, Alabama passed away Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Midtown Medical Center. A memorial service will be held 4:00pm Thursday, February 27, 2014 in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby, 3770 Hwy 431/280N, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Dexter James officiating.
Ms. Grohman was born November 16, 1939 in Carrolton, Georgia. She is the daughter of the late George Dewey and Annie Ruth Dyer Stamps. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Phenix City, Alabama.
Survivors include her sons, Dean Grohman and wife Heidi of Smiths, AL, Lance Grohman and wife Karen of Phenix City, AL, sister, Marion Sellers and husband, Elbert of Phenix City, AL, brothers, Julian Stamps and wife Ellen of Phenix City, AL, Dale Stamps of Texas, grandchildren, Ashley Shone and husband Trevor of Greer, SC, Jonathan Stewart of Phenix City, AL, Shane Hatcher of Smiths, AL, great grandchild, Karma Shone of Greer, SC, many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
