Carolyn Duke Perry

Carolyn Duke Perry, age 76, passed away Monday, August 12, 2024 at the Bethany House in Auburn, Alabama. A Celebration of Life Graveside Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 P.M. EDT, Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Lakeview Memory Gardens, 3800 Hwy 431 North, Phenix City, AL 36867 with Pastor Bud Passmore officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 3770 Hwy 431 N., Phenix City, AL prior to the service.

Mrs. Perry was born June 18, 1948 in Columbus, Georgia; daughter of the late Samuel Gordon Duke and Holly Duke Garner. She retired from Smiths Station Elementary School as a bookkeeper.

Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her step-father, Jesse Paul Garner and her brothers, Herman Duke and Sam Duke.

Survivors include her husband, Hugh D. Perry of Salem, AL; daughters, Diane Marshall (Steven) of Salem, AL and Jan Blose (Chris) of Senoia, GA; grandchildren, Daniel Cook, Matthew Marshall, Taylor Reyes Smith, Holly Marshall, Conner Reyes; and four great grandchildren, Kholson, Kynsli, Kooper and Aubrey.
