Carolyn Annette Walker, 69 of Phenix City, AL passed away Monday, September 21, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, September 24, 2015 in Lakewood Hall at Striffler-Hamby in Phenix City, AL. Rev. Brad McDaniel will officiate. Burial will follow in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Walker was born August 26, 1946 in Chattanooga, Tennessee; daughter of the late Basil L. Ruffner and Alice Drake Coombs. She was a homemaker and a member of New Beginnings Fellowship Church. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur F. Walker, daughters, Tammy Ruffner and Amanda Segars and her grandson, Richard Frazier.
Survivors include her daughter, Veronica Strickland (Michael), son, Lloyd Segars (Heather), brother, John R. Ruffner, granddaughter, Elizabeth Duell (Bobby), grandson, Levi Nolan Segars, great granddaughter, Amelia Marie Struble, great grandsons, Walker Levi Duell and Bobby Duell, Jr.
