Charles Henry Boon, age 75, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at Piedmont Midtown Hospital.

A celebration of life memorial service with military honors for Charles will be held Monday, November 6, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Midway Baptist Church, 9244 Lee Rd. 246, Smiths Station, Alabama 36877.

Mr. Boon was born September 12, 1948 in Clinton, Missouri; son of the late Robert E. Boon and Sara Jane Manes Boon. He was a member of Midway Baptist Church, was retired owner of Boon Pool Services and served in the US Navy.

Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Shelia Boon, son, Scott Boon and his sister, Barbara Harrell.

Survivors include his wife, Jonelle Townsend, daughters, Jennifer Long (Eddie), Shawna Blair (Glen), step-son, Kevin Ingram, step-daughters, Kelli Prescott (Johnny), Kerri Swiney (Davion), Kayla Martin (Dusty), 20 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
