Charles was a great Christian friend at Lee and preached me a sermon about my priorities on my last night there--one I have never forgotten and has encouraged me through 54 years of ministry. He was best man in our wedding and was an awesome help to this young, green preacher. I wish we could have stayed in touch through the years, but we'll meet again and talk it over. Heaven just got sweeter. Our love from Mary and Floyd McComb, Kinston, NC..

Diane, I pray that God will wrap His loving arms around you and your family and be so present, that if God wore cologne, you'd be able to smell it!! I love and miss you, but thank God that you were able to spend these last few years at home with Charles.

It is with deep sorrow that I mourn the passing of my beloved brother Charles. A finer brother, husband, and father cannot be imagined. He was thoughtful, loving, and kind; I never heard a harsh word from him about anyone or any thing.
I would also express my profound condolences to his wife, Diane, whom I have known since childhood. She is kind and gracious and who was a wonderful wife, and who is a caring mother of her two sons, Eric and Jason.
I know my brother Joe and my two sisters Janice and Carolyn have loving memories of him and feel deep sorrow at his passing, as do I.
My loving wife Maria joins me in sorrow at Charles' passing and she expresses her deepest sympathy and prayers for Diane, Eric, and Jason.

I served under the leadership of Mr. Marion for many years at WWHCS. He was the best principal ever.
He was truly a man of God.
He was the example of Colossians 3: 23-24

Mrs. Marion, Eric and Jason, and the entire Marion family are in our prayers
