Clevis Ann Lee, 88, was born March 29, 1938 as Ann Godwin to Levie Godwin and Annie Lou Galimore-Godwin. Ann is preceded in death by her parents, husband Doug Lee, sister Margaret Woodard and brother-in-law Tom Woodard.
She graduated from Brantley High School in Brantley, Alabama. She attended Troy State University.
Ann as she is known by her friends, retired from the Phenix City School System. Ann is a member of Pinehurst Baptist Church in Columbus, GA.
She is survived by a nephew, Gerald Simmons (wife, Leslie Posey Simmons), two great nephews, Jonathan Simmons (wife Samantha and their sons, Harper and Beau Simmons) and Jeremy Simmons of New Orleans.
She is also survived by many cousins and friends.
Visitation for Family and Friends will be held at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary - Phenix City in Lakewood Hall, located at 3770 Highway 431 North, Phenix City, Alabama 36867, on September 24, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
The Funeral Service will take place at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, located at 3770 Highway 431 North, Phenix City, AL 368682548, US, on September 26, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Private Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens in Phenix City, AL.
