Dakota James Lancour, 18 of Seale, Alabama passed away Sunday October 19, 2014 at the Midtown Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 24, 2014 in Lakewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Barry Fleming officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.
Dakota was born July 31, 1996 in Sanford, North Carolina; son of James Joseph and Heather Marie Craig Lancour. He was a graduate of Russell County High School and was currently employed with Hosey-Lancour Construction.
Survivors include his parents, Jim and Heather Lancour, brothers, Dalton Lancour and Landon Lancour, maternal grandparents, Mike and Bonnie Craig all of Seale, AL, paternal grandmother, Kathy Lancour of Escanaba, MI, uncles, Charlie Craig (Tina), Chad Craig, Logan Craig (Shelby), aunts, Lee Anne Strand (Ross), Julie Robak (Scott), numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.
