31 years ago when I met David he was stuck in the river and the water was coming up. First thought omg this guy is crazy. Little did I know that he would prove one of the best friends I will ever have. I love you Bolt and will miss you dearly.

David was my first friend as well as my cousin. We spent time together growing up even after we moved to South Dakota. We wrote letters and shared secrets.

When David was in middle school he flew to South Dakota to have a white Christmas, it was brown/green. No snow. He was disappointed but we had fun being tourist with him. He even rescued a puppy from being fit by a car.

As we age we all change but David will always be my first friend.

My sincere condolences to the family at this time of loss. Even Jesus wept at the loss of a loved one. But God has promised at Rev 21:3, 4 and Acts 24:15 that we have a great future in store if we just rely on him.
