Kai was born on July 20, 1993 to Kenny Fielding and Lisa McGuire in Fort Walton Beach, FL. After Kai graduated from Central High School in 2011, he went on to study music at CVCC.
After college, Kai worked various jobs until he found a forever work family at Elevance Health, formerly Anthem BCBS, kickstarting a 5 year career in Work Force Management.
In 2014, Kai met Allison at their place of work in Columbus, Ga. Kai and Allison went on to have 1 child in 2021, a baby boy named David Hezekiah Fielding Jr.
Kai loved to spend his time at home with his family and take weekend trips to Buc-ee’s in Warner Robins, Ga. He loved cooking for his family, grilling with his dad and brother, playing guitar, music, gardening, reading, collecting, and his favorite of all, making his friends smile and laugh.
He is survived by his grandparents Harold R and Zorina Fielding of Ft Walton Beach Florida, Lutrell and Richard Sohn of New Harmony Florida, Kelley and Sharon Carter of Gantt Alabama, his father Kenny Fielding, brother Ethan Fielding, wife Allison Fielding and son Kai Fielding Jr. of Phenix City Alabama.
Services will be held in the sanctuary at St. Mark United Methodist Church of Columbus, Ga on Wednesday December 21st. Visitation will start at 2pm followed by a Celebration of Kai’s Life at 3pm. In lieu of flowers and donations, the family requests donations be made directly to the Fielding family.
