Dwaylor Kay Tharpe

Dwaylor Kay Tharpe, age 78, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021. Dwaylor was born March 19, 1943 in Haleburg, Alabama; daughter of the late Henry And Eunice Dukes Ellis. She was retired from Kirven's Department Store after 23 years of service and most recently from Big Lots.

She is preceded in death by: her sister, Montez Padgentt.

Survivors include her son, John Allen Tharpe, Jr. of Phenix City, AL, daughter, Shana Harp (Mike) of Smiths Station, AL, grandchildren, Gage Tharpe, Sydney Tharpe, Elizabeth Harp, great-grandchildren, Lyam Edwards, Greyson Revells, Lylan Edwards, her sister, Betty Hickman of Kingsport, TN and nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be planned for a later date.
