Earl Glendle Meredith March 1, 1936 - May 17, 2015 Phenix City, AL- Earl Glendle Meredith, 79 of Phenix City, Alabama passed away on May 17, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Georgia. A graveside memorial service with military honors will be held on Friday, May 22, 2015 at 1:00 PM in the Main Post Cemetery of Ft. Benning, Georgia with Reverend Wayne Ivy officiating. Mr. Meredith was born on Mach 1, 1936 in Tennessee. Mr. Meredith was a Retired/Honorably Discharged SFC of the 10th Co, 1st Bn, Armor Division in the U.S. Army. Woodworking, football and watching WWE were some of his favorite hobbies. Mr. Meredith is survived by his wife Judith Meredith of Phenix City, Alabama, his children: Mike Abercrombie, Dena Coburn and Judy Conner; grandchildren: Jillian and Gabrielle, Joshua Rhodes, Blake and Wally Schreiber, Hunter and Mackenzie Abercrombie; great-grandchildren: Keagan Shaw, Zoey and Korben Rhodes, James Bainbridge and Sophia Byers.
