Earnestine W. Swords

Earnestine Wallace Swords, 75 of Phenix City, Alabama passed away Sunday, February 14, 2020 at her home. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 20, 2021 in Lakewood Hall at Striffler-Hamby, Phenix City, Alabama. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Swords was born August 21, 1945 in Plant City, Florida; daughter of the late Earnest and Jewell Parks Wallace. She was the Owner of County Line Produce in Phenix Cty, Alabama. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bert Allen Swords, Sr. and her sons, James Roy Fulgham, Wesley Shannon Peaster and her grandson, Michael Shane Harper.

Survivors include her sons, Michael Shane Peaster of Phenix City, AL, William Patrick Yaughn of Byron, GA, daughters, Rita Shawn Peaster of Phenix City, AL, Wendy Louise Yaughn of Ft. Valley, GA,

grandchildren, Timothy Phillips, Wesley Peaster, Steven Peacock, Ashley Moore, Destiny Rodgers, Audrey Peaster, Kalob Rodgers, Annie Moore along with three great grandchildren, Emilianna Peaster, Delilah Rae Gilio, Kasey Ray Lassiter (Greyhound Boy) and her caregiver, Theresa Harper.
