Edna M Sykes

Edna Mae Sykes, age 80, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022. A graveside service for Mrs. Sykes is planned for 11:00 A.M. EDT, Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Lakeview Memory Gardens according to Striffler-Hamby in Phenix City, Alabama. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Sykes was born May 28, 1942 in Helenwood, Tennessee; daughter of the late Albert and Gertrude Anderson Norris. She was a homemaker who's hobbies were gardening and creating Christmas villages at Christmas time.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Clark Sykes, son, Steven Sykes, granddaughter, Christinamarie Lynn Revells and grandson, Johnathan Revells.

Survivors include her daughter, Coleene Barno, son, Raymond Sykes, Jr., brothers, Clyde Norris (Shirley), Claude Norris (Patsy), Frazier Norris and her great grandchildren, Anthony, Eric, Andrew, Zoe and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
