Eloise H. Williamson

Eloise H. Williamson, 82, of Phenix City, Alabama, died Thursday January 5, 2012 in Phenix City. Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00am Saturday January 7th in Lakeview Memory Gardens, with the Reverends Wayne Scarborough,

Rodney Mitchell and Roosevelt Oakes officiating, according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 3770 Highway 431 N, Phenix City, Alabama, 36867. Visitation was Friday evening from 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Williamson was born August 4, 1929 in Louisville, AL., daughter of the late Jim Hurst and Mamie Sue Cox Hurst. She was a homemaker and member of the Auburn Heights Baptist Church in Phenix City. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Martin N. Williamson.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Ross Goode of Phenix City, Bobbie and Roger Smith of Smiths Station and Becky Benton of Phenix City, sister, Lois Beasley of Winder, GA., grandchildren, Russell Goode and wife, Heather, Christopher Benton and Stephanie Messer, great grandchildren, John Ross Goode, Cameron Benton, Janie Marie Messer and Josie Messer, step grandchildren, Sidney Smith and Cindy Shiver, 4 step great grandchildren, 1 step great grandson, sisters-in-law, Mary Anne Bailey and Delma Hurst, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
