To the family of Mae Peacock.
Aunt Mae was married to mom's brother Uncle Johnny.
I never met them face to face but was blessed with phone chats. Over the last 10 years
I've enjoyed hours of conversations with Aunt Mae.❤️ as she lived alone after the passing of Uncle Johnny, I was always in awe of her independence... her "can do" living. I live in California. A state that seems to be in a hurry, constantly. My chats with Aunt Mae filled my heart with love, kindness & a softness...from this "sweet southern girl". And, always a calming of my soul. Some chats lasted almost 2 hours. Her famous words as the chat was ending were always: " do you know what?".... Much more to share.... I always told her I loved her & wish we lived closer, I'd come over for a cup of tea &....we could chat some more. My heart is sad. But, I am at peace, also. She was a strong Christian lady...knowing she would see uncle Johnny again...
Knowing she would be going home to Jesus 🙏. I spoke to Loss, her brother, one time. And, enjoyed his chat also. She spoke so lovingly about him; about her family. I give thanks for being blessed with Aunt Mae & for our "chats".
Blessed your family is to have Aunt Mae.
Love & sympathy,
Dorothy Clark
