Ermine John Venuto passed away at home on August 26, 2018. He was born on February 12, 1948 in Niagara Falls, New York, the son of Erminio and Annette (Fratello) Venuto.
Erm graduated from Bishop Duffie High School, Class of 1965. Following graduation, he attended Paul Smiths College. He then received his B.A. in Forestry from North Carolina State and his Masters in Business from the University of Buffalo. Erm's work history included 40+ years with Mead Coated Board, from which he retired. Erm had a passion for photography and N.C. State basketball. He was a Master Gardener and volunteered for numerous organizations.
Erm is preceded in death by his parents, Erminio and Annette, along with the mother of his children, Linda Lee Venuto.
Erm is survived by his wife, Janice, son Alex (Lyn) Venuto of Valley, Alabama, daughter Bianca (Jason) Towler of Marietta, Georgia, step-children Curtis (Alexandria) Culpepper and Christie (Jimbo) Smith, both of Phenix City, Alabama, brothers Rocco (Ann) Venuto and Charlie Venuto, his sister, Colette Green, grandchildren Elden, Althea, Mikey and Landry Kay along with many loving family members and friends.

A service of remembrance will be held at 11:00 A.M. EDST, Saturday, September 1, 2018 at St. Patrick's Church, 1502 Broad Street in Phenix City Alabama. The family invites you to share your memories of him at a luncheon in the Swan Room at Green Island Country Club immediately following the service.
Those of you who wish to remember Erm in a special way may make a gift in his memory to the national Alzheimer's Association, which he supported with his whole heart.
