Evelyn Brown

Evelyn Brown, 92 of Phenix City, AL passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Parkwood Health Care in Phenix City. Funeral services will be held 1:00pm ET Friday in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 3770 Hwy 431 N., Phenix City, AL with Rev. Dexter James and Rt. Rev. Dr. Everett Brown officiating. Burial will be private at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00pm at the funeral home prior to the service.

Mrs. Brown was born January 15, 1921 in Phenix City, Alabama. She is the daughter of the late Oscar and Mary Fuller Lollis. She was a faithful member of Central Baptist Church and the Ladies Adult I Sunday School Class. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Arthur Brown.

Survivors include her daughter, Sheila Waldrop and husband, Jesse of Phenix City, AL, sons, Terry Brown and wife Wan of Phenix City, AL, Dr. Everett Brown and wife Sandra of Rome, GA, six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and many friends.
