Frances Nadine Cox Argo, 84 of Salem, AL died Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. EST Saturday December 16, 2017 in Lakewood Hall at Striffler-Hamby, Phenix City, AL with Pastor Jammie Holloway officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Argo was born April 4, 1933 in Colquitt County, GA; daughter of the late Curtis and Dovie Braswell Massey. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nathaniel Cox and husband, Robert Argo.
Survivors include her son, Glynn Cox (Janice) of Ooltewah, TN, daughters, Regina Oakes, of Salem, AL, Jackie Parker (David) of Salem, AL, Dawn Ranels (Larry) of Pine Mountain, GA and Joy Tyner of Salem, AL; grandchildren, Stacie, Kelly, Waylon, Ashley, Angel, Jeremiah, Kimberly and Jessica; great grandchildren: Connor, Colbie, Aubree, Miles, Kamie, Kaylee, Nataley, Jackson, Jacob, Allison and Brayden.
