Mr. Francis L. "Frank" Stone 72, of Phenix City, Alabama, died Monday November 12, 2012 in Columbus, Georgia. Funeral services will be held 11:00am Monday November 19th in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 3770 Hwy 431 N,
Phenix City, Alabama with the Reverend David Turner officiating. The family will receive friends Monday 1 hour prior to the service. Interment with U.S. Navy military honors will in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. The Patriot Guard Motorcycle Riders will serve as escorts.
Mr. Stone was born February 15, 1940 in Fall River, Massachusetts, son of the late Francis L. Stone, Sr. and Rosalinda Santos Stone. He was a U.S.Navy veteran and is preceded in death by his parents and sisters Elaine and Rose Marie.
Survivors include his wife Jan Stone, 13 children, 2 stepsons, brother, Richard Stone, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
