Known for his dedication to his favorite college football team; “The Georgia Bulldogs”, Steve proudly displayed everywhere his love and commitment to his team. His office, his home, his car, everywhere you turned you could see bulldogs lurking at you. Paul Finebaum his favorite show on TV and during the days of Vince Dooley and the Dawgs, Larry Munson was his favorite sportscaster. He also loved his Atlanta Braves. Although second to the Dawgs, he loved sports and the trips to Atlanta to see games or the long hauls on Saturdays to Athens to watch the Dawgs play between the hedges. Steve once entered a chili cookoff and was told “if you didn’t have Dawgs everywhere, you probably would have won!”
Steve loved his trips to the beach to soak up the rays on the beach and visit his friends and loved to entertain and grill out. Known for cooking on the grill he could master a steak or pork chop with ease…you bring the fixings’ I got the grill was his motto.
