

Rev. Howard Foxworth, 68 of Phenix City, AL passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. EST Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Lakeview Memory Gardens with Rev. Randy Comer officiating according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 3770 Hwy 431/280N, Phenix City, AL. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Rev. Foxworth was born April 2, 1944 in Phenix City, AL, son of the late Grayer Foxworth and Winnie Brooks McCarthy of Warner Robins, GA. He was formerly employed with Dixie Wholesale Company, was a member of River of Life Church and the Chattahoochee Valley Gospel Music Association. Other than his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Shelley Foxworth.
Survivors include his mother, Winnie McCarthy of Warner Robins, GA, wife of 49 years, Helen Mancil Foxworth of Phenix City, AL, sons, Mike Foxworth and wife Kellie of Cataula, GA, Andy Foxworth and wife Katie of Smiths, AL, daughter, Andrea Foxworth of Beulah, AL, sister, Bettie Clayton of Warner Robins, GA, brother, LaRay Foxworth and wife Sherry of Phenix City, AL, grandchildren, Jenna and Ken Tighe, Joshua Foxworth, Jacob Foxworth, Matt and Hayden Foxworth, Megan and Zach Garsee, Ashlie Foxworth and Chase Foxworth, five great grandchildren, Jayden and Rylee Tighe, Parker and Cooper Foxworth and Makenna Garsee, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
