Jacquelyn "Jackie" F. Bush

Jacquelyn F. “Jackie” Bush, 77 of Columbus, Georgia passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023 in Columbus, Ga. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 7, 2023 in Lakewood Hall at Striffler-Hamby in Phenix City, AL with Rev. Robert French officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. prior to the service. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens.

Mrs. Bush was born October 24, 1946 in Columbus, Georgia; daughter of the late James Lamar and Lou Emma Moon French. She has been previously employed with Columbus Regional Hospital, AFLAC and went on to retired with the U.S. Magistrate Judge Slaughter. She was a lifelong member of North Highland Assembly of God Church.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, James Lamar French, Jr. and Kevin Vaughn French.

Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Gregory A. Bush of Columbus, GA, son, Joseph Baldwin (Liberty) of Phenix City, AL, step-daughters, Misty Bush of Phenix City, AL, April Thompson (Jeff) of Columbus, GA, brother, Rev. Robert French, wife Cheryl (Rev. Kevin & Stacey Baker, Emma & Josiah) all of Midland, GA sister-in-law, Brenda French (Tucker and Taylor French); grandchildren, Justice and Jeremiah Baldwin, Ashton and Andrew Green, Daniel Dumlao, Alyssa Ward, Joseph and Elijah Thompson, Madison and Stephen Thompson, numerous other family and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons and Aaron Hollis.
