James L. Crews, Sr., 72 of Phenix City, Alabama died Wednesday March 23, 2011 in Columbus, Georgia. A Memorial service will be announced at a later date. Mr. Crews was born July 31, 1938 in Columbus, Georgia, son of the late
James I. Crews and Mary Nancy Denham Crews. He was retired from the city of Lagrange, GA.
Survivors include his son, James L. Crews, Jr. of Opelika, AL., brother, Roy Crews of Fortson, GA., sisters, Clara Hornbeck of Idaho and Margaret Ann Moser of North Carolina, grandchildren, Susan and Mary Crews and Kyle Hiskey, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
