Jean B. Bailey, 65, of Smiths Station, Alabama, died Friday March 30, 2012 in Columbus, Georgia. Funeral services will be held 11:00am EST Monday April 2nd in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 3770 Highway 431 N, Phenix City, Alabama, 36867, with the Reverend Bob Hawkins officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memory Gardens in Columbus. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 4pm until 6pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Bailey was born September 8, 1946 in Columbus, Georgia, daughter of the late Arthur F. Blair and Lola Mae Fuller Blair. She was a member of Cascade Hills Church in Columbus and was formerly employed by Columbus Diagnostics for more than 12 years.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Travis Bailey of Smiths Station, son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Melissa Bailey, daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Bryan Durham, all of Phenix City, brother and sister-in-law, Neil and Teresa Blair of Columbus, grandchildren, Ashton, Chandler, Tyler, Bailey, Keaton and Sawyer, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
