Jerry "Footy" Monroe Riles

Jerry Monroe Riles "Footy", 74 of Salem, Alabama passed away Saturday, July 10, 2021. Graveside funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. EDT Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at Crawford Cemetery with Pastor Travis Sheppard officiating according to Striffler-Hamby in Phenix City, AL. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:30pm until 3:30pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Riles was born July 11, 1946 in Columbus, Georgia; son of the late William Floyd and Emelyn Baskin Riles. He was owner of Riles Heating and Air since 1969. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and loved golf.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jerry Gregory Riles, sisters, Jean Hasson and her husband, Gene Hasson, Sandra Blizzard and brother, Wayne Riles.

Survivors include his wife, Janice Riles, children, Lisa Haywood and husband, Wally, Lori Watts and husband, Travis, Louie Stringfellow and Jessica, Bethany Stringfellow and Johnny; brothers and sisters, W.F. and Mary Jo Riles, Tony and Vicky Riles, Tammy and Chuck Dudley, brother-in-law, Neal Blizzard and sister-in-law, Lisa Riles. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Kyle Butler, Brittany Orrick, Kody Watts, Ryan Haywood, Seth Stringfellow, Dalton Stringfellow and great grandchild, Kennedy Rayne Orrick along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends at the Crawford Masonic Lodge following the service at the cemetery.
