Linda Jean Nagy, 71, of Phenix City, Alabama died Saturday, January 11, 2020. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on January 14, 2020 at Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery in Smiths Station, AL with Rev. James Hand officiating, according to Striffler-Hamby in Phenix City, Alabama. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday evening at the funeral home.

Mrs. Nagy was born June 19, 1948 in Columbus, Georgia, daughter of the late Dimond Harvey and Helen Cumi Thrower Elkins. She retired after more than 30 years with Southern Phenix Textile. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Floyd Nagy, Sr.; her son, John Floyd Nagy, Jr.; and her brother, Jerry Lemar Elkins.

Survivors include her daughter, Mylinda Hall (Donald); sisters, Wanda Hughes (Dennis), Vickie Meadows (Dewey); grandchildren, Elidia Bullard, Tasha Nagy, Justin Nagy (Christina), Timothy Nagy (Carrie), Jeremy Dobbs, Tamara Spradlin (David); great-grandchildren, Amanda Bullard, Elizabeth Bullard, Rylee Bullard, Brooklyn Bullard, Cheyenne Bullard, Leah Mills, Jameson Mills, Levi Mills, Callen Mills, Jayda Nagy, Rachel Nagy, Carly Nagy, Dakota Spradlin, Destiny Spradlin (Matthew Huddleston), Damien Spradlin, Zackery Spradlin, Mylona Dobbs, Andrew Hall (Tiffany); great-great-grandchildren, Wyatt Huddleston, Oliver Huddleston, Dalton Spradlin, Natalie Hall and Chelsea Hall; nephews, Terry Hughes (Pauline), Robin Hughes; niece, Heather Hughes-Horton; great nephew, Carter Hughes; great niece, Aynsley Hughes; and her best friends, Joyce, Lucy, Cousin Nancy, Cousin Harold and Laura.
