I knew Luther when he went to Midway Baptist Church when he was married to his first wife. She passed away and years later he met and married Mildred. Mildred used to have birthday parties for him at Jimmy's fish restaurant. I interviewed him and did a story on him for one of his birthdays and it was published in the Phenix Citizen. He was a wonderful man with a wonderful memory of the many interesting things he had done during his lifetime. He will be missed.
