Malzie Farley Winchester, age 94, born October 30, 1916 to Charles Lewis Farley and Martha Daniels Faley in Florida. Died Sunday, June 5, 2011 in Phenix City, Alabama. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers and her husband, Mike E. Winchester.
Survivors include her sons, Dale Farley Winchester and wife, Teresa of Hurtsboro, Alabama, Steve Allen Winchester and wife, Carol of Flagstaff, Arizona, granddaughters, Lynn Burns of Waxhaw, NC, Lee Burns and husband Mitchell of Whitesburg, GA, Dottie Priest and husband, Nathan of Villa Rica, GA, Audra Anderson and husband, Joe of Flagstaff, AZ, seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
A graveside service will be held at Carroll Memory Gardens on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. EDT with Rev. Allen Howard officiating according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 3770 Hwy 431 N., Phenix City, AL 36867
