Marion Joann Claridy

Marion Joann Claridy, 60 of Valley, Alabama passed away Sunday January 4, 2015 at East Alabama Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. EST in Lakewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, Phenix City, AL. Rev. Wayne Barrett will officiate. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8:00pm EST at the funeral home.

Mrs. Claridy was born April 8, 1954 in Taylor County, Georgia; daughter of the late Houston and Mary Estes Williams. She was a member of Blanton Baptist Church in Beulah, Alabama. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Wade Hoyle and her son, Malone Hoyle.

Survivors include husband of 21 years, Larry Claridy of Valley, AL, son, Jeremy Hoyle and wife Kristina of Camp Hill, AL, step-children, Lora Claridy of Wetumpka, AL, Marie Claridy of Valley, AL, Penny Claridy of Atlanta, GA, Sarah O'Hearn of Valley, AL, Billy O'Hearn of Columbus, GA, Chris O'Hearn of Valley, AL, three brothers, Steve Williams of Ellerslie, GA, Danny Williams of Phenix City, AL, Mike Williams of Nashville, TN, two sisters, Judy Sneed of Phenix City, AL, Kris Haywood of Opelika, AL, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
