Mary Christine Anthony, 71 of Phenix City, AL passed away Friday, November 2, 2012. Graveside funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, November 5, 2012 at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery with Pastor Ricky Ward officiating, according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Phenix City, AL The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Anthony was born March 5, 1941 in Huntington, West Virginia. She is the daughter of the late Kelly and Faye Fry, she was a homemaker and baptist by faith. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers. Survivors include her husband, Harold C. Anthony of Phenix City, AL, children, Patricia Anthony Payne and husband Randal of Midland, GA, Terry Anthony and wife Kelly of Smiths Station, AL, Timothy Anthony and wife Esther of Phenix City, AL, sisters, Irene Berry of Alexandria, KY, Deloris Barrier of Cincinnati, OH, Darlene Bryson of Miamisburg, OH, brother, Alvis "Butch" Fry of Miamisburg, OH, grandchildren, Cody Anthony, Joshua Anthony, Faith Anthony, Kaitlin Payne, Hope Anthony, Madison Anthony and one great granddaughter, Skyler Paris Anthony, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Harold and Family - I am so sorry I could not be there with you today; I want you all to know you are in my thoughts and prayers! I have many wonderful memories of Christine - she is the one that instilled to love of reading in my heart and gave me my first book!
