

Mary Eunice Willoughby Barefoot, 87 of Phenix City, Alabama passed away Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Phenix City Health Care. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. EST Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Crawford Road Baptist Church with Rev. Marvin Minton officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 3770 Hwy 431 N., Phenix City, AL. The family will receive friends Saturday from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at the funeral home.
Mrs. Barefoot was born November 16, 1925 in Dale County, Alabama. She is the daughter of the late H.R. and Lula Fralish Willoughby. She is retired from Sunshine Biscuit Company with 31 years of service and a member of Crawford Road Baptist Church. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, James Emory Barefoot, son-in-law, William Osborn and sister, Helen McInnis.
Survivors include her daughters, Ellen Gunter of Phenix City, AL, Lureen Osborn of Columbus, GA, sister, Maureen Morrison of Americus, GA, brother-in-law, Grady McInnis of Montgomery, AL., sisters-in-law, Mildred Rodgers of Columbus, GA., Thelma Rodgers and husband, James E. Rodgers of Phenix City, AL., Shirley Shipman of Birmingham, AL., Jean Hart of Shalimar, FL., four grandchildren,James Barry May and wife, Hulene, Ginger Osborn Bailey and husband, Doug, Joanna Osborn Loyd and husband, Ronnie, Terry Osborn Sizemore and husband, Jeff, 13 great grandchildren, special friend and "granddaughter," Salina Randall of Columbus, GA., nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
