Mary Lillian Hammock, 88 of Phenix City, Alabama died Friday, April 11, 2014 at her home. Graveside funeral services will be held 4:00 P.M. Monday, April 14, 2014 at Lakeview Memory Gardens with Rev. Lynn McManious officiating, according to Striffler-Hamby, Phenix City, AL. The family will receive friends Monday from 3:00pm until 4:00pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
Mrs. Hammock was born January 28, 1926 in Talbottan, Georgia. She is the daughter of the late Clarence Jefferson Hilderbrand, Sr. and Lucy Myrtle Hinton Hilderbrand. She was a homemaker. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Dean Hammock and her brother, Clarences Jefferson Hilderbrand, Jr.
She is survived by one daughter, Janna Hammock, six sons, Daron Hammock, Dallas Hammock (Shirley), Joe Hammock (Donna), Van Hammock, Dan Hammock (Robin) and Alan Hammock all of Phenix City, AL; sister, Linda Moniz of Warren, RI, 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
