Norma was born October 6, 1937 in Columbus, Georgia to George and Clara Quattlebaum. She had a God given talent for playing the piano and played in Church for many years. She taught teen girls in Sunday School at Grace Baptist Church for many years, during which time she was such a spiritual inspiration to many young women. She retired from A & P Food Stores as a bookkeeper and former co-owner of B & N Charters, which was used as a ministry to many people. She loved to travel and was known for her fun-loving personality. She loved cooking and was well known for the wonderfully delicious meals she prepared and especially her carrot cake. Her greatest accomplishment was her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and also her special sister, Livy, whom she took care of for many years. She was a great Nannie because she loved keeping the “grands” at any opportunity. She was known as “Nannie” to more than just her grandchildren.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents; her three husbands, Rocky Wiles, Bobby Robinson and Marc Morgan; one son, Nathan Robinson; one granddaughter, Tracie Farmer; one son-in-law, Tommy Farmer; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Douglas and Lois Quattlebaum; Charles and Hettie Quattlebaum; Wilmer and Francis Quattlebaum; two sisters, Willadean Quattlebaum and Olivia “Livy” Quattlebaum; parents-in-law, John and Zona Robinson; Brothers-in-law and Sisters-in-law, Tom and Verna Mae Cornelius, TV and Dorothy Tidmore, Jack Rutherford and Bill Whitehead.
She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Farmer; son, Wayne (Rosemary) Robinson; five grandchildren, Tiffany (Trey) Breazeale; Tamara (David) Slocumb; Cliff (Holly) Robinson; Clay (Keely) Robinson and Chad (Deborah) Robinson; and great-grandchildren, Olivia, Bobbi Taylor, Caroline, Karrington, Peyton, Levi, Luke, Walt, Kinsley, Kamryn and Chase; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Rutherford and Betty Whitehead; and many nieces, nephews and other family members and friends to cherish her memory.
Norma’s greatest love was her Lord Jesus Christ, and she was very faithful to share her faith with everyone she met. Her life verse was Psalms 27:1, which she lived throughout her life.
Pallbearers will be grandsons Trey Breazeale, David Slocumb, Cliff Robinson, Clay Robinson and Chad Robinson and nephew, Drake Quattlebaum. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tommy Williams, Jimbo Williams, Dee Williams, Tommy Miles and Harold Pritchett.
