Paul Morris

Paul Morris, 83 of Phenix City, Alabama passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 19th, 2013 3:00 pm in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 3770 Hwy 431/280W, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Elbert Ward officiating. A private burial will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until 3:00pm at the funeral home prior to the service.

Mr. Morris was born March 2, 1930 in Florida, son of the late Alford and Vassie Adams Morris. He was retired from Bronson Air Conditioning after 23 years of service and was a member of Bush Road Emmanuel Asembly of God Church. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Curtis Morris and grandchildren, Karen and Adam Schumacher.

Survivors include his wife, Lillian Morris of Phenix City, AL, son, Jimmy Morris of Columbus, GA, step-children, Sandra Peacock, Aubrey Peacock, James Peacock, Brenda Schumacher all of Columbus, GA, brother, Charles Morris, Jr., sister, Christine Tidwell both of Geneva, AL, nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
