Quilie Ann Green, age 90, of Phenix City, Alabama, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday November 22, 2018. Ms. Quilie was born January 22, 1928 in Phenix City, Alabama to Edna Kite Dolton and Eber Dolton. She learned at a very early age that she had to work hard to take care of herself. She loved her family and her church. Ms. Quilie was a member and Sunday School teacher at Philadelphia Baptist Church where she taught two and three year olds for over 40 years. She set an example for her children on how to live a good life. Ms. Quilie was also known in the community as “The Flower Lady” because of the beautiful yard that she kept. Mrs. Quilie Ann Green will always be remembered as living her life as a humble, faithful, and giving Christian woman, and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Ms. Quilie was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Green; son Clifford Green, III and daughter-in-law Theresa Green; father Eber Dolton and mother Edna Kite Dolton; brothers Garfield and Carl Dolton; and sisters Margaret Dolton Randall and Lelia Dolton Connell. She is survived by; daughter Ardis Heath; and son-in-law Harold Heath; grandchildren, Scott (Courtney) Heath, Emily (Danny) Thomasson and Danielle (Lyn) Maddox; seven great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other family members, and a host of friends.
