Ralph Edward Collins Sr.

Ralph Edward Collins Sr., 83, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024 at Piedmont Midtown Hospital. Mr. Collins was born July 3, 1940 in Phenix City, Alabama to the late Charles Collins and Helen Cantrell Jones. He retired from the U.S. Army.

Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Kay M. Collins, brothers: Buck Lafrancois, Jack Clegg, and Tom Jones.

Survivors include his sons: Scott (Crystal) Collins and Eddie Collins; grandchildren: Mark and Lisa Collins; brother, Jerry (Jolene) Lafrancois, sister, Janice Jones, nephews, Everett Lafrancois, Wes Clegg and niece, Reisha (Jason).

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary 3770 Highway 431 North, Phenix City, Alabama 36867. A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be on Friday, June 21, 2024 at 1:30 PM in Fort Mitchell National Cemetery, 553 Hwy 165, Fort Mitchell, Alabama 36856.
