Raymond Duck

Graveside services will be held 3:00 pm EDT Sunday, April 29, 2012, at Lakeview Memory Gardens according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 3770 Hwy 431 N., Phenix City, AL. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Duck was born December 31, 1914 in Dadeville, Alabama to the late Reuben Samuel Duck and Evie Jackson Duck. He was a member of Hillside United Methodist Church in Phenix City, Alabama. He was a World War II veteran and was retired from Lummus Industries. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Edith Washburn and Laverne Parker and one brother, Roy Duck.

Survivors include his loving wife of 70 years, Dorothy Tillery Duck and one daughter, Ann Dorman and her husband Herbert of Midland, GA, three sisters, Addie Deas of Jackson, AL, Agnes Jinright of Albany, GA, Melba McClellan of Alexander City, AL, one brother, Melvin Duck of Alexander City, AL.
