Raymond Keith Massey

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 2:30 pm, Sunday, December 7, 2025 at Hilton Terrace Baptist Church, 2236 Warm Springs Rd., Columbus, GA 31904. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until 2:30pm prior to the service.

Mr. Massey was born November 15, 1960 in Bentwaters Air Force Base, England; son of the late Frank Putney Massey, Sr. and Edna Ann Shoemaker Massey. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a professional musician. He will be remembered as a person who loved the Lord, loved his family and was the best Papa ever. He was a great musician who could play any instrument with strings. He could fix or build anything he put his mind to. He was a fabulous cook and loved having his home full of his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Rose Massey of Phenix City, AL; children, Tiffany Duke (David) of Midland, GA, Kelli Plant (Drew) of Leesburg, GA, Will Clarke (Amariah) of Columbus, GA, sister, Reba Hufstetler of Phenix City, AL, brother, Frank Massey, Jr. (Tammy) of Prescott, AZ, sister, Sheri Massey of Huguley, AL, brother, Jeff Massey (Stephanie) of Hogansville, GA; his five loving grandchildren, Lilli Simpson-Duke, Candence Duke, Evan Duke, Nate Plant, Griffin Plant and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
