SGM (Ret) Rosemond Derrell Crawford, 75 of Phenix City, AL died Sunday May 11, 2014 at the Columbus Hospice House. Funeral services with military honors will be held 2:00 P.M. EST Saturday May 24, 2014 in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby, Phenix City, AL. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Mr. Crawford was born August 3, 1938 in Belton, South Carolina. He is the son of the late Roy C. and Vada Heller Crawford. Mr. Crawford was retired from the U.S. Army with 31 years of service and was a member of the D.A.V. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years Cecilia Ann Crawford and his brothers, Buddy and Clint Crawford.

Survivors include his daughters, Tammy Crawford of NC, Sandra Goodrich of NC, Carol Lopez of GA, sons, Lonnie Crawford (Angela) of TX, Wayne Crawford of SC, brothers, Jamie Crawford, Haskell Crawford, Jerry Crawford all of SC, sisters, Martha Pacifico of VA, Fay Chapman of SC, ten grandchildren, one great grandchild, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Cecilia Ann Crawford, 72 of Phenix City, AL died Saturday May 17, 2014 at the Columbus Hospice House. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. EST Saturday May 24, 2014 in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby, Phenix City, AL. The family will receive friends Friday May 23, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. EST at the funeral home.

Mrs. Crawford was born September 25, 1941 in Donaldsonville, GA. She is the daughter of the late Nelson and Eunice Deal Walls. She was a homemaker and baptist by faith. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Rosemond Derrell Crawford.

Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Crawford of NC, son, Lonnie Crawford (Angela) of TX, sister, Shelia D. Cannon of NC, ten grandchildren and one great grandchild, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
