He was born on February 3, 1981, in Middletown, Ohio, to father, Roy Lewis Hardin, III, and mother, Sheila Ann Davidson (Didnato).
Roy was employed by Newcomb Trucking, where he was a harvester and driver, alongside his wife, Missy Hardin (May) of East St. Louis, Illinois. Roy and Missy got married on July 31, 2015. He was a multi-talented person whose true passion was hunting and fishing.
Roy is preceded in death by his father, Roy Lewis Hardin, III; brother, Steven Davidson; and grandmothers, Beulah Davidson and Phyllis Parson.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Sheila Ann Didonato and Anthony Didonato; his sons, Seth Gossett, Anthony Gossett, and Jonas Hardin; daughter, Maddi Hardin; brother, Joseph Hardin; sisters, Tonya Robinson (Kyle Robinson) and Johna Trimble; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at 2:00 pm in Lakewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 3770 US-431, Phenix City, Alabama 36868. Visitation for Family and Friends will be held from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm prior to the service. Burial will follow at Girard Cemetery, 1000 Sandfort Rd, Phenix City, Alabama 36867.
