Mrs. Hart was born October 28, 1931 in Columbia, Alabama; daughter of the late William "Bill" Smith and Addie Pearl Bowen Smith. She worked at Cobb Hospital in Phenix City, then at Royal Crown in Columbus, Georgia before quitting to help her "Honey" run their grocery store White Spot in Seale, Alabama. Many people remember she and Frank running their grocery store, laundromat and car wash in Seale, AL.
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Frank Hart, sisters, Dora Burke, Ada Abig, and Ann Bustamante.
Survivors include her daughters, Kay Mitchell (Roger) and Jan Pollard both of Seale, AL; four granddaughters, Melissa Charles (Mike) of Seale, AL, Chasity Burton (Kelly) of Clarksville, TN, Tiffany Siegler (George) of Daleville, AL, and Candice Marchand (Jody) of Ozark, AL, and 14 great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.
Ruby enjoyed spending time with her family. She also loved crocheting, cross-stitching, cooking and cleaning. She was loved by her family, friends and her Garden's of Calvary family also.
She will be greatly missed, but we rejoice that she is now well and enjoying her eternal home with her "Honey" Frank Hart.
