Sanford M Hussey went to be with Jesus and his ancestors on Wednesday, July 13, 2022. He battled a long illness that took him from his devoted family. He was born April 11, 1940 in Banks, Alabama and lived to be a ripe young age of 82. Mr. Hussey was the owner of Hussey’s Tire Jungle, which was in business for over 35 years. He was a devoted man of God and made a tremendous impact on everyone he knew. He never met a stranger and always had a nickname for everyone he met. His impact will be felt for many years to come and in his famous words, “say, on me!”, “right on” and “just be sweet.”
He was preceded in death by his parents William Byrd Hussey and Ruby Pearl Morgan, his first wife and mother of his children, Janice M. Culpepper Hussey, 5 brothers and 1 sister. He leaves behind his devoted wife, Rita Mehaffey Hussey and sister, Linda Townsend (Andrew).
