Sara Frances Faulk, age 86 of Cusseta, AL passed away on October 20, 2025. A visitation will be held at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, located at 3770 Highway 431 North, Phenix City, AL 36868-2548, on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 1:00 pm CST, a Celebration of Sara's Life will follow at 2:00 pm CST.
She was born to Dock & Foy Mae Miller on May 12, 1939, in Ariton, AL. She married Benjamin Ross Faulk September 13, 1952, shy of 57 years of marriage, when he preceded her in death, often times she would say, “your daddy, and 4 kids were my life, I loved you, all.” She asked for forgiveness for any wrongdoing.
Sara was known for her passion for quilting, reading, gardening, and sewing. Her hobbies were a testament to her creative spirit and gentle nature, bringing joy to those around her.
She will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
Preceded in death, her husband Benjamin, brothers Alton & Alvin Miller, her father & Mother Dock & Foy Mae Miller Carr, sister Josephine Roe, a grandson Kelvin Ross Taylor, Granddaughters Amber Star Faulk, Jessica Faulk, great-granddaughter, Sarah Nichole Schwarz, son-in-law Kenneth Coxwell and daughter-in-law Dorothy Faulk and sister-in-law Trady McEnturf.
She is survived by her daughter, Sara Marie Dooley (Clarence) of Wedowee, Al, her sons Johnny Ross Faulk (Rhonda) of Beulah, Al, David Earl Faulk (Robin) of Smiths Station, Al and daughter Elizabeth Ann Jones (Ronnie) of Beulah, Al.
Grandkids Kelli Jones (Dwayne), Cookie Poore (Tim), Scott Faulk (Stephanie), Ben Coxwell (Kassady), Ross Coxwell (Heather), Amanda Rodriguez (Rod), Montana Faulk, Shaylee Bowden, Billie Anne Baker (Dena), Michelle Jones (“Q”), Rodney Jones, 19 great grands and 10 great-great grands.
