Sara Vaughn

Visitation will be from 6-8pm, on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Striffler-Hamby 3370 HWY. 431 North Phenix City, AL.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Faith Temple Assembly of God, #4 Meadowood Drive, Phenix City, AL. with Reverend Emory Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Vaughn was born January 15, 1945 in Opp, Alabama to the late Bud Thorpe and RA Boswell Thorpe. She lived many years in Haines City, FL and retired to this area in 1999. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husbands Carl L. Vaughn and Charles Lolley, son, Gary Henderson, two grandchildren, Tosha Jackson and Terry Lee Henderson. She was a member of Faith Temple Assembly of God.

Survivors include her children; Terry Henderson, Shelia Willingham, Darrell Henderson, Carl Lee Vaughn, Jr., Jeanie Henderson, Russell Lolley and her two sisters and two brothers; grandchildren, Christie, Tiffany, Amanda, Erica, Ashley, Gary, Jr., Randy, Robert, Stacy Bailey, Brittney, Corey, Christian, Austin, Nichole and lots of great grandchildren.
