Sarah A Claridy, age 71, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at Piedmont Midtown Hospital.

A visitation for family and friends for Sarah will be held Friday, February 23, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary - Phenix City, 3770 Highway 431 North, Phenix City, Alabama 36867. Following the visitation for family and friends will be a graveside funeral service at 3:00 PM at Lakeview Memory Gardens, 3800 Hwy 431 North, Phenix City, Alabama 36867.

Mrs. Claridy was born December 5, 1952 in Bessemer, Alabama; daughter of the late J.B. and Eloise Leggett Smart. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, William Anderson Smart and her sister, Barbara Joan Smart.

Survivors include her husband, George B. Claridy, sons, Jared Claridy, Sr. and wife, C.J., Jacob Claridy and wife, Maggie, grandchildren, Jared Claridy, Jr., Brandon Claridy, Luke Claridy, Robert Jones and Justin Nipper.
