Shirley Ann Brown, 57 of Phenix City, AL died Friday, August 20, 2010 at the Columbus Hospice House. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 3770 Hwy 431 N., Phenix City, AL, with Dr. Wayne Wright officiating.
Mrs. Brown was born May 26, 1953 in Tutwieler, Mississippi, daughter of the late Robert Joe Lewis and Althea Hass Lewis of Phenix City, AL. She attended Lamb Baptist Church in Smiths Station, AL.
Other than her mother, survivors include her husband, J. Fred Brown of Phenix City, AL, son, Daniel Joseph McCormick and wife Amber, daughter, Brandy Lynn Bowden and husband, Dustin of Smiths Station, AL and four granddaughters, Lyndsey Bowden, Hunter Bowden, Emily McCormick and Charlee McCormick.
